Built by operators, because we lived the problem.
Corelis didn't start in a product meeting. It started in the field and the back office — running a large electrical contractor and a national staffing firm, and buying system after system that never worked the way we were sold.
At MKD Electric and at Leapros, we bought the tools we were told would fix it — accounting, ERP, field apps, ATS, payroll. Each was sold as the answer. None of them delivered. The numbers lagged a month behind, the systems didn't talk to each other, and there was no real AI anywhere in the stack. Automation, where it existed at all, was crude.
Worse, the people doing the actual work paid the price. Foremen, project managers, and recruiters were left doing the same cumbersome, manual workarounds every day for problems the software was supposed to solve. Corelis exists to fix exactly that: one system that connects the data, automates the busywork properly, and puts real AI where the work actually happens.
The principles behind the product.
Software should fix the problem you bought it for — not add a login and a dashboard. We measure ourselves on whether the work actually gets easier.
Analytics and automation belong inside the tools you use every day, surfacing what to act on — not in a separate report nobody opens.
Deployed fast and repeatable, then tailored to how your business runs. You get proven foundations without a bespoke price tag.
The operator behind Corelis.

Michael has spent more than two decades in the industrial economy, starting in the trades. As President of MKD Electric he scaled the business from roughly $10M to $150M+ in revenue and led it through a successful exit — building the operating infrastructure, leadership team, and capital relationships behind a multi-fold expansion in a complex, project-driven business.
He's also Founder & CEO of Leapros, a national staffing and recruiting platform built for construction and the skilled trades. Across both companies he hit the same wall: disconnected systems sold as the answer, no real AI, crude automation, and teams stuck doing manual work the software should have handled. He's building Corelis to solve it.
“Every system we bought was sold as the answer. None of them solved the actual problem the foreman, the PM, or the recruiter had in front of them. That's what we're building Corelis to fix.”
